Realising my dream

On July 1, 2022 I realised my dream of pursuing a Fellowship in Ocular Oncology with Dr. Carol Shields at the Wills Eye Hospital, with generous support from the Victoria Cohen Eye Cancer Charitable Trust. Being a referral center for patients with eye cancer from all over the United States of America as well as different parts of the world, the learning from clinics has been exponential. Hitherto, in addition to improving my knowledge on the diagnosis and management of eye cancers such as uveal melanoma, retinoblastoma, conjunctival, orbital and eyelid tumors, I also had the opportunity to discuss an interesting case on a virtual platform (Holy Moly!) with several established as well as aspiring ocular oncologists. I am pursuing my research interest in ocular oncology and look forward to share further updates on this front.
