Victoria Cohen scholarship – first award to be announced at ISOO conference in Leiden, Netherlands.

The recipient of the inaugural Victoria Cohen scholarship for aspiring ocular oncologists will be announced at the International Society of Ocular Oncologists conference in Leiden, Netherlands, on 18^th June 2022.

29 applications were received from all over the world. Of these, four were shortlisted for interview. The Judging Panel has now selected the successful applicant.

Nick Rapley, Chair, commented, ‘We are so excited to announce the recipient of the first Victoria Cohen scholarship, I know that Victoria would approve and be very happy with the choice made by the Judging Panel. I wish we could offer more awards, but as a small charity we need to walk before we run. This is a great start, and we look forward to awarding more scholarships. Applications are now open for the 2022/23 award.’
